Interesting article from Mashable about online photo sharing.  The web-based services Flickr, Picasa and Photobucket now have competition from moble apps such as Instagram, Picplz and Path.

Had to tweet this shot of the Taj Mahal

Of course, as well as these dedicated photo services, social media sites such as Facebook and Twitter are great ways to share your memories with friends and the wider world.  On my recent trip to India I took some shots with my Nokia so that I could tweet them, but took most of my photos with my Canon, and later uploaded them to Facebook. I have to admit it didn’t occur to me to use Flickr or Picasa, even though I have accounts at both.

But the article suggests that as cameras on smartphones improve these new easy-to-use apps will drive us more and more to use instant mobile sharing.

Which is your favourite way of sharing your photos?
